First Prize Winner of the Klaviermusik International Competition in Vilnius, Lithuania, and Second Prize Winner of the Fourth International Piano Competition in Panama and the World Piano Competition 2011, Belarusian pianist Alexandra Beliakovich performed as soloist with the Belarusian State Symphony, Belarusian State Chamber Orchestra, Cincinnati and Manhattan School of Music Philharmonic Orchestras, and as recitalist in Belarus, China, Cuba, Japan, Lithuania, Poland, Spain and the USA. Her most recent performances include Concerto in F by Gershwin and Beethoven’s Concerto No. 5, performed with the Havana National Symphony Orchestra. From 2004 to 2006, she was an advancedstudent of piano and organ at the Belarusian State Academy of Music. She has since earned her Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctorate Degrees at the Manhattan School of Music studying with the world renowned piano teacher Solomon Mikowsky.
During the many years of her teaching career, Alexandra Beliakovich has taught students of all ages – from small children to adults. As a Teaching Fellow at the Manhattan School of Music, she taught Elective Piano and Required Piano Classes to college students. Alexandra also has extensive experience teaching piano students in a group setting.
