Soprano Claire Stadtmueller holds degrees from New England Conservatory and the University of Rhode Island. She continued her studies with Metropolitan Opera bass John Macurdy and Met conductor Pierre Vallet. She has served on the voice faculty of several universities in NJ, MA and RI, and taught voice lessons for ten years at St. George’s School in Newport, RI. She sang eight major works at Carnegie Hall, sang the role of Tosca in NYC’s Central Park, and performs frequently as a recitalist throughout the United States. This summer she is recording Chopin’s 17 Polish Songs for The Chopin Project.
