Adrienne Harmon is an active violin teacher and performer in the Hudson Valley region. Originally from New England, Adrienne received her pedagogical foundation at the New England Conservatory and Walnut Hill School for the Arts. Adrienne received Suzuki teacher training from Kimberly Meier-Sims at the Cleveland Institute of Music and Ann Smelser in Chicago, Illinois. Adrienne’s performing and teaching career span over ten years throughout Illinois, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio and New York. Adrienne has been an artist-teacher at Western Kentucky University, Lipscomb University and several el sistema programs within the United States. Adrienne has recorded and performed with multiple ensembles including The Nashville Symphony, Gateway Chamber Orchestra, Cleveland Pops and The Cleveland Orchestra.
Most recently, Adrienne pursued her Artist Diploma at the Cleveland Institute of Music, studying with William Preucil. Prior to that, Adrienne completed her Master of Music degree in violin performance with Ilya Kaler and her Bachelor of Music in violin performance at the Cleveland Institute of Music, studying with David Russell.
