This class, appropriate for children ages 5 - 8, is a combination music appreciation and musicianship class. Taught by Mr. B, also known as Dave Bodemann the class teaches children to recognize tunes from classical composers including Vivaldi, Bach, Haydn, Clementi, Mozart, and Beethoven, as well as learn something about them. Each tune is coupled with catchy phrases such as "I Want to Eat", which the children sing to the tune of the opening of Beethoven Symphony #5, while they act out a fun scenario which goes along with the music. In this example, they bang on the floor with pretend forks, singing "I Want to Eat" while the opening of the symphony is played. For music by Clementi, they row a pretend canoe in rhythm. Haydn is introduced with "Haydn (hide 'n) seek games, and Beethoven's Pathetique Sonata is played while children ride pretend motorcycles on the floor. Music from Handel's Messiah is acted out by children "holding a handle (Handel)" of a bucket, which corresponds to the opening tune of the Hallelujah chorus. These types of games help the children remember the composers with a lot of joy, and since they are interactive, the children love to participate.

The second part of the class teaches children to do simple rhythmic dictation using white boards and magic markers, based on listening and writing down the rhythms that they have heard. Simple prizes are given out when the children get the right answer, which adds to the fun.
