Wendy Kain Barone
Wendy BaroneBass, and Electric Bass Wendy Kain Barone, double bass and electric bass, received a Bachelor of Music from the Eastman School of Music and a Master of Music from the Juilliard School. She has been principal bass of the Albany Symphony and the Norwalk Symphony, and has performed in the Colorado Music Festival Orchestra and the New York Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra among many others. As a chamber musician, she has toured Berlin with the Hudson Valley Quintet, and has performed in the Aurora Three Trio and for the Westchester Concert Society. She has taught and participated in the Bowdoin Music Festival, the Los Angeles Philharmonic Institute, the Round Top Music Festival and the Eastern Music Festival. She has taught at the Third Street Music Settlement and the School for Strings. Her notable teachers have included Homer Mensch and James Van Demark.
