Nely Burla, piano, possesses over twenty years of experience as a piano teacher of classical music for children and adults from beginners to a professional level. Her students have passed exams in many musical institutions with honors, and have won local and national piano competitions. She holds a Ph.D.in Music from Saratov State Conservatory of Music, Diploma with honors from Kharkov Institute of Fine Arts, Donetsk State Musical and Pedagogical Institute, Diploma with honors from Donetsk State Music College, and Certificate from Donetsk Central Music School for Gifted Children. She has taught at the Canadian Academy for the Arts and Music, Mississauga School of Music, The Royal Conservatory of Music, the University of Toronto, Kfar-Hanasi Music School, Lahavot Habashan Music School, and Donetsk State Conservatory of Music, Ukraine.
Nely has accompanied students for solo recitals, music competitions, examinations at all levels, and auditions at University of Toronto, The Royal Conservatory of Music, Canadian Music Competition, Kiwanis Music Festival, Peel Music Festival, Pickering Music Festival, and York Region Lions Music Festival. Performing experience includes University of Toronto, Toronto Center for the Performing Arts, Glenn Gould Studio, Roy Thompson Hall, Royal Conservatory of Music, Jerusalem Center for the Arts, Haifa Technical College, Upper Galilee Performing Arts Center, and Philharmonic Society of Donetsk. Publications include a piano textbook for teachers at music colleges, and two musicological works published and held in the Moscow Central Public Library.
