John M. Geller

Drums and Guitar

John Geller is an accomplished and versatile rock and blues drummer and guitarist with extensive teaching experience. He has a warm, patient and nurturing approach to teaching children. He received a Bachelor of Music from Manhattanville College in music education, and has taught in many public and private schools including Harrison Central School District, Mount Vernon Board of Education (elementary – high school), Greenburgh Eleven Union Free School District, Cedar Knolls Union Free School District, Garrison Union Free School District, and in the Katonah Elementary School and Increase Miller Elementary School after school programs. He has performed in The James Mercer Band, Crucial Jive, the Ground Zero Blues Band, and The Visitors, and has been percussionist at Northern Westchester Symphony Orchestra. Recording credits include Blues and Others.
