Rock Workshops
All Ages
Students enrolled in this class will explore various forms of rock and funk music performance. Music from artists such as James Brown, the Who, Stevie Wonder and others will be studied and performed weekly.
Additional topics covered will include stage presence, listening skills, improvisation, and roles of instruments. Instrumentation will include guitar, bass, drums, and vocals with possible openings for keyboards/piano and horns depending on repertoire.
